The grant supports commissioning a six-minute orchestra piece from University of Michigan composer Michael Hopkins, plus three clinics with students. Intended to feature every section, it is planned for Tappan's seventh- and eighth-grade orchestra and band at the 2027 AAPS Orchestra Night.

Canvas, wood, and paint give Forsythe's performing arts students materials to plan and build scenery flats for the plays and skits they stage each quarter. The grant also supports props and costume pieces for sixth- through eighth-grade classes serving about 300 students a year.

Students in grades 4–8 at A2 STEAM are learning to work with clay, including throwing on the school's two pottery wheels, and teaching one another as they go. The grant supports restocking ceramic glazes and offering more glaze choices for about 430 art students.

The grant supports raw materials to begin building a dip-glazing station at Skyline, so advanced ceramics classes can add glaze formulation to the curriculum. It serves students in grades 9–12 and opens possibilities for cross-curricular work with the school's science and technology departments.

Non-porous wedging boards that wipe down between classes give Scarlett’s seventh-grade art students a steady, consistent surface for wedging and building with clay. The grant supports about 210 students across the school year.

Sewing machines and cardboard saws continue building out the fabric and sculpture centers in A2 STEAM’s lower elementary art studio. The grant supports more creative choices for more than 300 students from Young Fives through third grade.

Wooden rhythm blocks sized to represent different note lengths, with measure frames for different time signatures, give students in grades 2–5 a hands-on way to learn rhythmic notation and composition. Two class sets let students work with a partner.

Many clay tools in Clague’s clay program and three-dimensional design courses are worn, rusted, or broken. The grant supports new modeling, needle, and ribbon tools so each student can have their own, serving approximately 450 students in grades 6–8.

In a yearlong art class for grades 9–12, advanced portfolio students work alongside many inclusion students. The grant supports adaptive and specialty supplies suited to a range of physical and developmental abilities, such as kumihimo disks, yarn, scratchboards, paint markers, and sculpting materials.

Clague's band music library has no music written by women. The grant supports band music by women composers at a range of levels, for band students in every grade.

The grant helps restock Huron's shared mixed media closet with supplies the school's regular vendors don't carry, such as buttons, bottle caps, feathers, and googly eyes. It mainly serves the Mixed Media course for grades 9–12, and IB and photography students use it too.

Lumber, foam, paint, hardware, and adhesives replenish Tappan's theater building supplies so students can start making from the first day of class. The grant supports sixth- through eighth-grade theater classes and the after-school Tappan Players cast and crew, more than 150 students.

Tappan's well-loved band books have not been replaced since the 1990s. The grant supports new books for each instrument so every student can have their own copy to use in class every day and take home.

Skyline's cardboard guitar cases, in use since the school opened in 2008, have lost handles and are coming apart at the seams. The grant supports new, sturdier cases so about 50–75 guitar students a year in grades 9–12 can carry instruments home to practice.

New repertoire and method books, reeds, valve oil, replacement strings, and percussion sticks and mallets support daily instruction for about 180 Pioneer band students in grades 9–12. The grant also supports replacement music stands and part of a guest clinician's visit.

Exposing students to new, diverse repertoire is part of the choir curriculum. This grant supports sheet music for at least four additional songs for Tappan choir students to perform during the 2026–27 school year.

Huron’s choirs go on a performance tour every couple of years, and the program is committed to bringing every student who wants to go, regardless of finances. This grant supports a partial scholarship for a student who could not otherwise attend.

Musical theater curriculum materials, along with basic costumes, props, and set pieces, support three grade-level productions at Lakewood: first grade, second and third grades together, and fourth and fifth grades together. The grant serves more than 300 students.

The grant supports about 120 sixth- through eighth-grade choir students with transportation, t-shirts, and concert materials for performances. It also helps rebuild the choir budget so the program can consistently afford future travel and performance opportunities.

The grant supports master classes from professional musicians on some of the more difficult band instruments, such as French horn, oboe, bassoon, and F-attachment trombone. It is for about 100 sixth- through eighth-grade band students, who play 14 different instrument types.

The grant supports gel printing plates, needle-felting pads, needles, and felt. Students in all grades will use them to try printmaking and needle felting, art mediums they wouldn't normally have access to.

The grant supports a conductor's chair that lets the director sit at a raised height while coaching fifth- through eighth-grade band students in sectionals and small ensembles. Students can interact with the conductor differently than when the director stands and they sit.

A large stretchy movement band lets whole classes feel steady beat, tempo, and dynamics together, while new hand drums let more students play at once instead of waiting for a turn. The grant supports about 370 music students from Young Fives through fifth grade.

Lawton's music program was given old music stands but has no safe way to store them or move them on and off the stage. The grant supports a cart that holds 20 stands, for use by all Lawton music students.

Solid tempera paint sticks have a broad tip, so students who feel intimidated by artmaking can start without pressure to work in detail at first. The grant supports three 60-color sets for about 200 Huron students across eight 2D art courses.

Washable clay wedging boards replace canvas surfaces that hold onto clay dust, giving eighth-grade art students a cleaner, safer, and more stable place to work. The grant supports Scarlett’s clay program for more than 200 students over the school year.

Chromatic tuners help speed up tuning at the start of each class, while electric humidifiers and instrument humidifiers help protect string instruments through dry Michigan winters. The grant supports about 150 orchestra students in grades 5–8 across one middle school and two elementary schools.

Permanent markers support many art projects at Dicken, including the Winter Walk, when every student decorates a luminary and, on one winter evening, the school walks the lit path through the Dicken Woods. The grant serves all grades, Young Fives through fifth.

A class set of new brayers and student-safe linoleum cutters replaces worn, rusted printmaking tools that are difficult to control. The grant supports about 220 seventh- and eighth-grade students in Clague’s Drawing and Printmaking course.

With no theater budget at the school, this grant covers costumes, props, and other set needs for play performances. It supports more than 200 sixth- through eighth-grade students over the course of the year.

Scarlett's theater classes meet in a classroom with no technical elements. The grant supports an LED follow spotlight so roughly 300 sixth- through eighth-grade students can plan and present performances with lighting effects, including students who want to work behind the scenes.

The grant supports supplies for Angell's end-of-year art projects, including refills for the button-making machine and tie-dye materials. The supplies serve every grade and offer mediums that elementary students don't usually get to explore.

The grant supports leadership training for Skyline marching band's 19 section leaders, mostly in grades 11–12, who teach music and marching fundamentals to the band. It covers notebooks, binders, pens, and t-shirts for training before and during band camp and at weekly season meetings.
